Ingredients

 

  • 2/3 C. Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
  • 1 1/2 C. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 2 tsps. Spice Islands® Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 3/4 C. all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Clabber Girl® Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp. Spice Islands® Ground Saigon Cinnamon
  • 2 1/4 C. McCann’s Quick Cooking Rolled Irish Oats
  • 1/4 C. dry oat bran high fiber hot cereal
  • 1 C. raisins

Directions

  1. HEAT oven to 350ºF. Spray baking sheets with no-stick cooking spray like Baker’s Joy®.
  2. COMBINE oil and brown sugar in large bowl. Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Blend well. Combine flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon in medium bowl. Add to shortening mixture. Mix well. Stir in oats, oat bran and raisins. Drop by slightly rounded measuring tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets.
  3. BAKE 9 to 10 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets 2 minutes. Remove to wire rack.
