Triple Berry Fruit Crisp Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (16 ounces) frozen berry mixture (or 1-1/3 C. each of blueberries, raspberries and strawberries)
  • 1/4 C. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Clabber Girl® Corn Starch
  • 1/2 C. water
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. Spice Islands® Pure Almond Extract
  • 1/2 C. butter OR margarine, softened
  • 1 C. brown sugar
  • 1 C. McCann’s® Quick Cooking Rolled Irish Oats (not instant)
  • 1/3 C. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. Spice Islands® Ground Saigon Cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Pour berries into a large bowl.
  3. Add sugar and corn starch and mix well.
  4. Add water, lemon juice and almond extract.
  5. Spray an 8-inch square baking dish with cooking spray like Baker’s Joy®.
  6. Pour in berry mixture.
  7. Combine butter, brown sugar, oats, flour and cinnamon in a medium sized bowl with a pastry blender until butter is in small pieces.
  8. Sprinkle over top of berries.
  9. Bake 45 minutes until fruit is bubbly and topping is browned.
  10. Serve warm or at room temperature.
  11. Delicious with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
