Directions
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Add butter and sugar to a stand mixer or a large bowl. Beat with mixer until light in color.
Add molasses and egg. Beat until well combined. Sift together flour, pumpkin pie spice, salt and baking soda. Add cardamom if using. Add these dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Drop dough by the Tbsp. on cookie sheet that has been lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10 – 12 minutes.
Remove from oven and let stand on cookie sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to cooling rack.

2 tsp. Clabber Girl® Baking Soda
1 Tbsp. Spice Islands® Pumpkin Pie Spice
