Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F. In a medium bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Cut in shortening with pastry blender or 2 forks until mixture resembles coarse crumble. Add milk and bacon, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Turn dough out onto a floured surface and knead lightly (about 4 times). Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness, cut biscuits with a 2-inch biscuit cutter. Place biscuits on a lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake biscuits for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
