Peanut Butter Frosting w BF Crisco (10)

Ingredients

  • ½ C. Crisco® Butter Flavor All-Vegetable Shortening
  • ½ C. creamy peanut butter (not natural peanut butter)
  • 1 tsp. Spice Islands® Pure Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 4 C. powdered sugar, sifted
  • 4-6 Tbsp. milk

Directions

  1. In the bowl of a mixer, cream the shortening, peanut butter, vanilla and salt until smooth.
  2. Add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, blending on low-medium speed. The mixture may be crumbly.
  3. Add the milk, one tablespoon at a time, until your desired consistency has been reached.
  4. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the refrigerator for a week.
  5. Mix before using if stored.
