Ingredients

  • 2 C. all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp. Clabber Girl® Baking Powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 2 oz. cold butter, cut into small pieces
  • 2 oz. goat cheese
  • 2/3 C. buttermilk
  • 4 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. Kosher or sea salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 400° F.

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, Clabber Girl® Baking Powder, salt, sugar, oregano, and thyme. Cut in butter and goat cheese with a pastry cutter. Add buttermilk and stir until a dough forms. Roll out dough to 1/2-inch thickness and cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter. Arrange biscuits on a parchment-lined sheet pan, starting in the center and working outward, with biscuits slightly touching. Bake in preheated oven for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with salt.
