Ingredients

COOKIES

  • 1.5 C. McCann’s® Quick Cooking Rolled Irish Oats
  • 23 C. unsalted butter
  • 1/2 C. brown sugar
  • 1/4 C. granulated sugar
  • 1 medium egg
  • 2 tsp. Spice Islands® Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Grandma’s® Original Molasses
  • 3/4 C. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. Clabber Girl® Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. Spice Islands® Ground Saigon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. Spice Islands® Ground Cloves

CREAM FILLING

  • 13 C. unsalted butter
  • 1.5 C. powdered sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. heavy cream
  • 1 tsp. Spice Islands® Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter and sugars together in a stand mixer with paddle attachment for 2 minutes.
  3. Add in the egg, vanilla, and molasses to the butter mixture.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and oats together.
  5. Add in the dry to the wet ingredients, mix to combine. Using a cookie scoop, drop the dough onto the sheet tray.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes, let cool
