Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Mug Cake

Ingredients

1 whole egg

3 Tbsps. brown sugar

2 Tbsps. all-purpose flour

3 Tbsps. McCann’s® Rolled Irish Oats

½ tsp. Clabber Girl® Baking Powder

¼ tsp. salt

1 Tbsp. butter, melted

¼ tsp. Spice Islands® Pure Vanilla Extract

4 Tbsps. chocolate chips

Optional: 1 Tbsp. peanut butter

Optional toppings for decoration: Back To Nature® Classic Creme Cookies, Dec A Cake® Rainbow Sprinkles

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients except the chocolate chips, and blend well
  2. Stir in 3 Tbsps. of the chocolate chips
  3. Pour batter into a 14-16 oz. coffee mug
  4. Sprinkle remaining 1 Tbsp. chocolate chips on top of batter
  5. Microwave 1 ½ – 2 minutes or until top has set
  6. Allow to cool for a few minutes, then enjoy.
