Ingredients

Donuts

  • ¾ C. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. Clabber Girl® Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp. Spice Islands® Ground Saigon Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp. Spice Islands® Ground Nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ C. light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. Spice Islands® Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. Greek yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp. Maple Grove Farms® Pure Maple Syrup
  • Baker’s Joy® Non-Stick Baking Spray or extra butter for the pan

Maple Glaze

  • 2 Tbsp. Maple Grove Farms® Pure Maple Syrup
  • ¾ C. confectioners sugar
  • Milk to thin glaze, added 1 tsp. at a time

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Grease donut pan with Baker’s Joy® Non-Stick Baking Spray or butter.
  3. Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a large bowl.
  4. Melt butter in a separate bowl and mix in egg, brown sugar, vanilla, milk, Greek yogurt, and maple syrup until smooth.
  5. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix to combine. Do not over mix.
  6. Spoon batter into the donut pan, making sure to spread evenly, filling almost to the top.
  7. Put the donut pan in the middle rack of the oven and bake for 10-11 minutes, until cake tester comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the donut pan for 10 minutes before carefully transferring donuts to a cooling rack.
  9. While the donuts are cooling, make the glaze: Add the confectioners’ sugar and maple syrup to a bowl. Add milk a couple of teaspoons at a time until glaze reaches desired consistency.
  10. Once the donuts are fully cooled, dip into the glaze and place back on the cooling rack, letting the excess glaze drip off. Dip a second time if desired.
