Individual Cherry Crisps Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 C. cherries, pitted
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Clabber Girl® Corn Starch
  • 1/4 C. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. Spice Islands® Pure Almond Extract
  • 3/4 C. rolled oats
  • 1/4 C. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 C. granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. Clabber Girl® Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Spice Islands® Ground Saigon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 C. chilled butter, cut into small pieces

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350° F.
  2. Combine cherries, corn starch, sugar, lemon juice and almond extract; mixing well. Set aside.
  3. Spray ramekins or souffle cups with non-stick cooking spray.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine oats, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
  5. Cut in butter until oats mixture is crumbly.
  6. Spoon reserved cherry mixture into prepared ramekins. Top with oat mixture.
  7. Bake 40-45 minutes or until tops are golden brown and cherry mixture is bubbly.
